Sadly, one of the common stories we hear is where the guys who built the website seemed to magically disappear after the last invoice was paid and now when changes are needed there’s no one who knows about the site. This story goes against our philosophy for two reasons. Firstly, when we finish a site build, our clients can make most of the changes themselves and shouldn’t need us too often. Secondly, we see all our clients as potential long term partners.
If you don’t believe us then ask the guys over at Ascent or the Desert Flower Foundation. We built their original sites and are now in the process of refreshing them again. That’s a three year relationship right there. Then there’s the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. We developed their blog templates for the student body and research centres and 18 months later we’re working on a new project.
Support and maintenance is key for any new site and especially soon after launch. We find that with the right support in place a site will rarely have to come back to us for common problems like site hacks, downtime, backups or updates because that’s all covered in a simple support agreement. With some clients, all we do is support their sites if and when they need it. If you want to know more about our services then get in touch.
